This is an opportunity to rave about just ONE picture from another 365er from among those that you favved ...and often it is really hard to just choose one. It certainly gets you to think even more deeply about what you love in a photograph.
Try and add the Photographer's link - it will be nice for them to know they are appreciated.
I have to say, it is A REAL JOY to review the images I have favved over the week - hope you enjoy doing the same. It is also wonderful to get to see what other 365ers love.
@pankaj Pankaj's pea hen, which is stupendous in its colour, the action he caught and the fantastic painterly background. This is only one of many stunners, although I think it is one of the best, if not the best.
@miranda Oh POO!! Sorry!! Let me check.. I don't think I was online checking often enough to fav someone but.. I do have some fav's from last week. Let me update and I will come back. Again sorry!!
I have two FAVs this week.
The first one is from @luckygirl:
Carefree45 / 365care•free adj\ ˈker-ˌfrē\
: free from care
a: having no worries or troubles
b: irresponsible
For as long as I have the strength I will fill your world with dreaming, cloud watching, dancing, laughing, singing, giggling, face painting, joy spreading, tickling and bubble blowing.
Photo taken by @trbo
Jax Main St Bridge43 / 365SOOC - This is from The Jacksonville Landing. This is one of the first SOOCs I have been able to be proud of where my camera didn't get in the way.
I don't Fave a whole lot of photos...but I did this week: This is Jason Daniel's (FYI if you click on the pic it takes you to their page, for those who may not know ) :)
I really loved the selective coloring on this one. @attraversi Although it's still all in color, it looks like she reduced the saturation level on the rest of the photo to really accent the color of the shoes.
@tnamari Good point, and the suggestion of putting the link to the person in, is because that notifies them that they have been selected for this thread - but you probably knew that. :-)
Thanks WoP. Greatly appreciated mate. I didn't notice this thread until my better half pointed out that one of my pics got a mention. A first for me! :-D
@marinade : I did! I have no idea why it isn working... hmm. I did try again now, but it only the symbol keeps popping up. I'm just going to add the link here
I love trees, love them. They create emotions in my I cannot explain or describe to others in a rational manner. Growing up in the country trees have an active part in my memories. I played in them, talked to them, played hide and seek near them, and rested under them. I have always considered photos of trees to be among the most expressive ways to show emotion and thought. A cloudy day creates a gloomy tree, a bright blue sky brings forth a cheerful tree. The tree photo above. Now that's a tree in love! I love this photo. I have to be honest it was not easy to choose. All the photos in my favorite file are there because I am picky, so they had to be good to even get placed there. check it out..if you want to meet some artists who deserve your follow. Ps. Alison Miles is a creative and amazingly talented photographer. I check her work daily because she always has something new and interesting to offer. I recommend adding her.
Ok, So I know I already posted one amazing photo.. (I was worried that if I posted the one I love very much, I would be booed because I am probably quite biased) Seeing as the photographer is my partner M. So I chose another that was equally wonderful.
I have never seen anyone work so hard to get one photograph a day. M spends anywhere from 1-5 hours on his photographs. He likes to try new things and if you look through his photos you will notice no 2 are ever exactly the same.
The photo I have chosen, that I love, is the Breadcroc, M had me splitting my sides as he told the tale of this croc (He has a story for nearly all his photographs) and how he attempted to eat a mushroom, but found it pretty bland. Spotting a tasty Chili pepper the croc thought he might just have himself a tastier bite. Only the chili pepper glares at him and declares "You don't want to be messing with me..you will get more than you bargained for"
Here is the photo.
@sabresun (I just had to share it M. It is my favorite photo)
@dcr
well, we had to choose our fave, and yours was it!!!
Plus Its a great way of helping each other get attention and gain followers... AND again, I love your macro work, some ones gotta be brave enough to get that close to a damn spider!!
I only fav'd this one during those dates. I love everything about this photo...the size of the lock, the textures, the tones. Bob has some awesome photos!
You have know idea how you have made my day. To get a compliment from such a talented photagrapher as yourself is very humbling. And to think I almost trashed this picture. @denvela
@craigdtull
I have to admit there isn't much I don't love of Craig's. This one just happens to fall into the required dates. I'm also a little obsessed with Clouds, can't get enough of them.
@pfmandeville and @miranda
Thank you very much. I am much honored and encourged. I do not favor any picture although I have many that I love and try to comment on them. I try to avoid competition in this site and favoring is a kind of grading in my eyes. Since it is a less time consuming way to express appreciation for a photo of a friend here, I might switch and make more favors and fewer comments.
@yoelao That is true that it seems competitive, but for me it is a wonderful place to go back to time and time again to see the beautiful pictures on here and gain inspiration. It's a nice boost too, so I would definitely encourage a fav for those we love and that are in some way special to us, hence this thread. This discussion had really had a good response this time. I'm really pleased.
@yoelao Actually, I Fav mainly as a way to go back and look at those I like the most - I have Fav'ed many and I really enjoy looking through them again for inspiration.
@filo13 awww, thanks Jennifer. I am learning heaps from some great photographers on this site, including yourself. And OMG, so happy you didn't trash this photo! Sometimes the simplest images are the best and it's just as hard to simplify as it is to elaborate.
There was stiff competition too, from @ericmabalot Hibiscus, @robinwarner Sunshine
@tamaralara Winter Fairwell, @carajill Miami Beach shot
I think this is a really adorable picture! I've seen a lot of V day pictures. But this one just stood out!
@spaceman
I had to Fav this one from @flamez - she took the ordinary (splashing in a puddle) to a new high! Loved everything about it. :)
my fav would have to be this one by @ddantic
makes me think of all the parks ive been with my boys , but looking at it when theres no one there if that makes sense ! amazing shot :)
@amyhughes is one of my favorite artists on here!

by Frederico
I can't copy the photo and his moniker at the same time to let him know this was my ultimate fav.
I choose your beautiful "selfie" in the cave like alley on Fav Fav 11th to 18th.
Perfect timing & a curious little critter...
Thanks WoP. Greatly appreciated mate. I didn't notice this thread until my better half pointed out that one of my pics got a mention. A first for me! :-D

I really love Mary's composition and processing in this one!

@yoelao
I just love the reflection on the ground from the melting snow.
I always forget about faving pictures. Durrrr. So between the 12-18th I only fav'd two but this is my favorite by @Kchel:
here is my fav of yours..i love the expressions
I have to admit there isn't much I don't love of Craig's. This one just happens to fall into the required dates. I'm also a little obsessed with Clouds, can't get enough of them.
@timinozi I am obsessed with this shot. the colors are so rich and amazing, and the lighting is perfection. I just absolutely love this photo.
