I realize that since this site is primarily a photography site, almost everyone on here must have photography as a hobby. I started my 365Project to actually use photography to document another hobby of mine though-- which is doll customizing.
Then I wondered what other hobbies everyone on here has other than the obvious (photography)! Please do share your hobbies that have been glimpsed at through your 365Project!
@Mel Bastin, that cupcake looks so cool! I love that it's got a little cup of extra sweetness with it-- that's very smart.
@Lisa Lee, you look like the opposite of what I'd expect someone to look like after finishing 10 miles-- congratulations! I'm working on trying to increase my distance running, so I'm going to follow you as inspiration.
@Paul Myers, I've heard of postcrossing but have never done it. Seeing your collection makes me want to though, because thinking about receiving something like one of those colorful rectangles of paper in the mail every now and then feels really exciting. I've done geocaching too but I haven't done any difficult ones yet-- that looks like an epic one.

@webfoot I did postcrossing for a long while but I lost interest after a while for some reason. I'm still a member on there (only because I don't know how to cancel) but I don't use it.
I collect autographs now. I'll get photos this week of some of them and post them.
I'm not sure if it's a hobby or not, but I love cooking. I cook dinner seven days a week and love coming up with new recipes. Here's a food shot from a week or so ago.
@chevymom OMG the transformation is amazing! thank you so much for sharing. i've always thought that butterflies were such beautiful creatures, but caterpillars are gorgeous, too!
The Weekly Cooking Challenge is something my husband and I have done for about 5 years now. My facebook page is on it's second year. So, cooking and taking pictures of the process is an ongoing thing we enjoy.

Even though this hHoliday light show is put on during the holiday season, we are active all year long building new light displays.
I have a lot of hobbies but haven't used many pics of them on 365. I knit, crochet, sew, bake, dance, sign, act, flags, read.....Yeah, a lot. I'm really enjoying the photography a lot right now though :)
@christiq Haha, sure, come on over. I'm self-employed and work from home so it's my job to put food on the table. We live in the middle of nowhere (as some of my pictures can attest to) and there really aren't any restaurants to go to nearby anyway.
@Jeremy Vohwinkle, I think that's a hobby too. Homecooked food really is the best, especially when shared with family. : )
This thread has really grown! There really are a lot of cool hobbies here-- dancing, fencing, sports, so many crafts. Everything is so beautiful too because you can all take lovely photos of them to boot. I feel like picking up on some of the hobbies I see here, actually.
@Dorrena Ortega, those lights are ridiculous! I love it! I have never seen lights that well thought out and executed in my area. Sounds like you get a couple of tourists checking out your house occassionally too.
Looks like great fun is had here.. it should come as no surprise that 365 is filled with creative people, with many talents!

I got into all sorts of random sports in the last couple of years. Here's a photo I took at a dodgeball game.
It's really hard to get decent photos in those indoor gyms, but I like the look post-throw moment and look I caught here.
I don't know how you feel about looking through a photobucket album but those are my graphs. I'm working on getting them all on there by the first of April (I got somewhere in the vicinity of 10,000 altogether).
It really isn't a hobby..it's a passion. I belong to an amazing group called Metro Paranormal Investigations. I get to go all over and investigate haunted locations. In addition, we host haunted tours at Historic Fort Wayne in Detroit, MI. Being a part of this team has allowed me to see incredible places and meet the coolest, genuine people. This is Shadow. The 8 year old.... but he's really like a puppy stuck in a 14 year old body. lol
Then there's Bishop the 4 year old. And my boyfriend Dino. Bishop LOVES to go for car rides and I call them my Co-pilots. lol
Last (but CERTAINLY) not least. The puppy Gino. He just turned a year old this month... and he's always good for a laugh and an adventure.

Getting Tattoos.
I have 9 now. Been in the chair 14 times.
Spending time with my best friends
We call each other "Hetero Lifemates" ever since we went and saw the movie Stick It. From the quote "Hi. I'm Poot, and this is my Hetero Lifemate, Frank"
And of course... saving memories for my family and keepin up traditions.
I'm the resident photographer for both sides of my family. This photo is of a tradition started by my mom, all her sisters, and their cousins. Whenever the whole family gets together, we spilt into two groups (men & women) and sing "Paradise By The Dashboard Light" by Meatloaf. Its really fun/funny.
And of course the usual.... listening to music, reading, etc etc.
I managed to get quite a few of these hobbies into one photo ~ knitting, coffee (yes, it's my hobby... not an addiction because that word is ugly) and great TV/movies.
I also love to play in the kitchen - cooking or baking
