Thank you all for voting for my technology pic and letting me win one of my fav challenges: the MACRO challenge, so perfectly hosted by Monica @monicac. Thank you for that!
I hope that this new macro subject won’t space you out: kitchen universe!
Look closely around your kitchen, or somebody elses ;) Obviously, I don’t mean the search for too small objects like bacteria ;) See this link for differences between micro, macro and close-up pics: https://expertphotography.com/difference-between-macro-micro-and-close-up-photography (please copy into your browser).
This challenge is an invitation to open up all drawers and look into every little corner for hidden macro gems. Put on your special macro safety glasses and explore your kitchen universe, filled with overlooked and potential photogenic utensils. Corkscrews? Wowy, super nice spirals! The inside of a clean cooking pan? Wowy, strange patterns and spacy colors (see pic):
Brushes, towels, skimmers, extractor hoods, they all have their own beautiful shapes, patterns, colors and textures when you look more closely. You don’t have to portray the total object (probably not macro) but zoom in and discover interesting pieces of it.
Only non edible stuff please. This is not going to be a food challenge, although there is a risk of getting hungry while being on this kitchen universe hunt ;)
The starting date: Sunday November 3rd
End of challenge: Sunday November 24th (24.00 hours own local time zone)
Tag: macro-kitchenuniverse
Voting: ASAP after closing time
(notice for @farmreporter, for getting this challenge into your wonderful SH*T list. Thanks!)
I wish you all an inspiring trip into your own magical macro kitchen universe :)
