Street-70 - transform streets into a serendipity universe

June 14th, 2020
Thank you Domenico @domenicododaro for hosting the last street challenge (street-69) and thank of all who participated and voted. I was really glad to see my photo of the acrobatic cyclist in contre-jour getting your votes!

In these special times, Street photography might be the best way to document the situation. As countries continue to open up again, step by step, there is a very special atmosphere in the streets, in public transports, in parks. For me, during the last few months, street photography was one of the best way to get out of my home-office and focus on something else than work. Street photography has of course many definition, many purposes. And I like street photography, for many reasons. Documenting our times, estheticism, catching up unexcptected situation, playing with lights, shapes, colors. For me, street photography transform the street into a universe for serendipity.

Here are the links posted in the last call for entries by Domenico, where the thing is explained with much more authority than by me:
Let’s remember, however, that a street photography does not necessarily imply a large human presence, it’s much more about those curious, funny, thoughtful, unexpected, meaningful, happy or sad events we occasionally stumble in while out with our camera, that, as small as they may be, catch a glimpse of reality.
