My bad! I really dropped the ball on this one. It completely slipped my mind (if I even have one) that I had entered MFPIAC 107 and I missed the notification that my collage had won. Please accept my apologies for being so late getting this next round started. And thanks to @monikozi for alerting me to the fact.
After that preamble let me just say that I am humbled that my collage was chosen over so many wonderful entries, and a big thanks to Sharon Lee @sugarmuser for hosting the last round. Also thanks to all those who entered the challenge and those who viewed and voted for the finalists. Once again, my apologies.
This challenge asks you to choose 6 pictures related to the theme and put them together in an interesting collage. You may also add a title if you wish.
For Challenge#108, I thought an appropriate theme would be festive lights. At this time of year they are all around us and even if you don't celebrate Christmas there are still many light displays for you to see and shoot. In fact, it doesn't need to be Christmas lights, any festive occasion that has a display of lights will do. You can take this theme and run with it as you desire. The collages may use textures, shapes, colours, lighting, tones, saturation levels, symmetry, abstract formats, overlaps, borders, blurring, 3D effects, patterns, - whatever takes your fancy!
There are just a few RULES:
Your collage can be any shape, but MUST contain 6 photos. These can include images from your archives or a series of photographs you take specifically for the collage. They can be pictures you've posted here on 365 or ones you've never shared but MUST have been taken by you pressing the shutter.
Photo collage making apps that are popular include PhotoCollage, PicCollage, PiZapare ,PicsArt. Picmonkey, Ipiccy, Befunky and Moldiv. You can also use free web collage makers, and PS users can use Adobe's online collage maker.
It's more fun to do than you might think, so give it a go!
