Christa chose the theme of "Signs" for us to have a go at this week.
If you would like to enter please tag your photos with theme-signs
-------------------------
Entry to this theme starts on Monday 7th March and will accept entries until Sunday night (23:59 GMT 13th March). 5 finalists will be chosen next week and we'll start voting on Wednesday.
Entries must have been taken and uploaded this week only! Entries outside of the date range will not be accepted in to the final 5.
I took this photo this evening purely because it amused me, not because I was planning to post it in my project! The power of the theme! It also gave me the opportunity to compose a silly write-up to go with it.
And here's another one that I took last month, which I'm quite proud of:
@edpartridge ---hahaha, I've seen a sign very similar to this one where I grew up! I love that there's an additional sign telling you what the sign above it is supposed to be!
took this while on a night shoot, downtown at our capital, before knowing the theme was sign, thank you to @poggy1818 for alerting me to this week's theme
When I saw this week's competition theme -signs- I thought 'Man, that's easy in Molins!'. So here is my humble contribution, a randomly selected tiny sample of signs in my town. Clockwise from left:
· Even politicians co-operate to beautify Molins de Rei!: Political party poster asking how to improve the neighbourhood.
· Unfinished sentence on a semi-demolished wall: 'Roberta what you told me'. Note the spelling and syntactic indifference the artist is showing (in Spanish).
. A bench, the perfect canvas for a bunch of gibberish graffited messages.
· The only place where you could appropriately announce your message, begging for adverts :-0
Congrats Christa on winning Over Exposed :-)
@edpartridge hehehe! nice one =D
