Thank you very much to everyone who entered and voted in the previous challenge. I am overjoyed to have won that particular one, since ICM is my favourite technique, and Olga Karlovac's work was love at first sight. I have implemented a habit to print out one photo per month, from those posted on 365. My choice this month is very easy, thanks to you all.
For the current challenge I selected a Japanese photographer: Toshio Shibata. The main theme is landscape photography with the following constraints:
- nature and man-made structures coexist
- no sky
- no human presence
- omission of everyday reference structures (houses, vehicles) unless relevant to the composition
Photos can be b&w or colour.
Enter as many entries as you wish. I shall take the liberty to include more than one shot per photographer, if I deem so (the privilege of the host).
The challenge will run from April 28 to May 18. The entries are not restricted to this time frame.

@kali66 I like it mostly because the guy shows how to replicate the style and also talks about the essence of the photos. I wanted to go for Alexey Titarenko, but I feared people had had enough of blurry images.
