This is a somewhat belated start to Sports Action 15. The winner of round 14 declined to host and I was asked if I would mind taking over the hosting role. So here we are, better late than never. Thanks to Skip Tribby @script07 for hosting round 14 and also to those who participated.
This challenge is a very wide-open category and any sporting activity is eligible. The only rule is that the main subject should be a human actively engaged in a sport of some kind. It need not necessarily be a competitive or organized sport so recreational running, cycling, swimming, roller blading etc. is permissible. However, simply walking the dog is not,
You won’t have to look hard to find a subject – go to your local tennis courts, baseball diamond or soccer field, shoot a jogger in the park or a cyclist almost anywhere. Use your phone to snap a photo of your playing partners on the golf course. There are subjects everywhere so get out there with your cameras and show us people all over the world having fun participating in a sport.
I will back date this challenge to May 15, the closing date of round 14 so if you have something that has been waiting on the sidelines you can post it now.
The closing date will be July 10. That should give you plenty of time to shoot the action.
