New Black & White Challenge - Minimalism

I am honoured to host the next black and white challenge having had my image selected in bw - 84. Black and white photography is near and dear to my heart since that is how I started out back in the paleolithic era. Shooting in black and white takes us back to the roots of photography and the absence of colour forces us to consider the tones of grey, quality of light, contrast, composition and texture. It is photography at its most basic. For this challenge I have chosen to go even more basic with the theme of minimalism. Eliminate the clutter, make use of negative space and contrast.
