So I decided for a quick theme to make a change on where my eye looks for photos. It seems that overall I rarely look up for a photo. So for the next week or two I think I will take all my photos from the ground up. Anyone want to join in.
Oh, I'm there. I was actually thinking about that two nights ago while walking along the beach. I had never looked up at the hotels. So I shot a few of two resorts and they very quickly became two of my most popular photos on Flickr.
@jasonbarnette hmmmm, I love a little flexibility, but how about the horizon line must be in the bottom 1/5th of the photo. I think if you are lying on the ground and take a photo shooting upward to the top of the blade of grass or taking photos of clouds or tops of buildings should count. Any other suggestions
@jwalrath You haven't...you mean you haven't...I can't even type it! That was an *awesome* movie. I have it on DVD. You should come over. From...wherever you live haha.
@jasonbarnette Haha, alothough it might be fun to travel, renting it might be more practical right now! But I'll get on that so I can see the awesomeness of it all!
@jwalrath See...if you just rent the movie, all you'll be doing is watching a movie. If you come over to my place to watch the movie, *then* you'll get the awesomeness of it all :P
@michaelelliott I almost used a similar picture for a filler this weekend. Glad that you look up also. I think it is so much easier to do in an urban area
So...what do you wanna define as "up"?
I was thinking something like no horizon in the photo at all. I think that would be a good definition of up.
Oh dang. UP was a good movie. Now I wanna see it again.
Hope it doesn't rain or I'm going to have a wet belly!!
This one might just skid in under the guidelines. ;-)
Sometimes not by choice
Ok tag lookingup noted.
Thanks, Paula!
@jasonbarnette Was it a good movie? I have yet to see it haha but I want to!
