It's time for Tag Challenge XVII... This is a very fun challenge especially if you are looking for inspiration! Make sure to note the entry dates... Saturday, Sunday , Monday and Tuesday.
This is how it works:
Go to the "Browse" section and then to the "By Tags" page. Close your eyes and pick a tag. Do it again (no peeking) and now you have your assignment! Please clearly state the name of the two tags that you picked when you post your entries so we know what your assignment was.
You may enter this four-day challenge from Saturday, November 26 through Tuesday, November 29, EST. Entries must have been taken and uploaded during these times only! Entries outside of the date range will not be accepted.
Tag the entries as "tag-challenge17" so I can find them. And feel free to share them here on this thread so everyone can see!!
I'll choose 5 finalists and voting will begin on Wednesday.
I picked Australia + yellow (strange as that may sound). I am going to a holiday party with some Australian friends tonight so we shall see what I come up with.
Edit: Here is my picture. The two friends in the middle are Australian and I gave them a slight yellowish hue in post-processing ;).
I chose SOOC and Girl - here is my entry with my sick little girl as the model (taken and uploaded on the same day 27 Nov).
My second entry - as with my first entry this is SOOC (and was taken and uploaded the same day 28 Nov) - this is my second daughter after playing with the stamp that Nanny gave her.
@corduroy2008 hi, i know that this isn't my topic but i though i could try and help anyway :) um to post your image on tho topic it has to be uploaded onto your project and on the right hand side of the page there is a link. if you just copy and paste that link onto this page and click post reply it should appear. i hope this helps :)
@nicolecampbell hate to be pedantic but the pictures have to be uploaded for this challenge specifically, not old ones from your album, and sooc means it's how it came out of your camera (straight out of camera) - theses type of pictures are very rarely black and white.
@nicolecampbell Nicole, could you repost your original picture as it came out of the camera? I agree with Dave (@chewyteeth) that changing the shot to black and white would not be considered SOOC (straight out of the camera). I hope your daughter feels better soon.
@nicolecampbell I just went to your page and noticed that you mentioned you only added your name and the shot was actually taken in black and white. If that is so, then there is no problem. Sorry about the confusion.
@chewyteeth - this wasn't an old photo from my album, I took it and loaded it the same day and it was SOOC as it was shot in black and white. I have participated in these challenges before and do know how they work. Thanks,
[insert photo tomorrow]
