I've seen a few full moon shots tonight, and they're all actually quite different!
Isn't it amazing how something that so many of us can see at roughly the same time can produce a different final image. How about we collate them here?
I was a bit disappointed with the 3D-ness of my craters this time...
@sdpace ah yea, I keep forgetting that. I'll try and remember to write the month out in full next time, then no one gets confused! Still no clouds here, but eyes are a little fuzzy! ;)
How very cool @jannaellen I get jealous of you and your toy story guys every time I see them! I must adopt a similar "group". I promise not to copy you and go for Woody et al! X
@sburbidge UTC? What on earth (or moon) is that?! Anyways...it'll be daylight here by then...and not as much fun...and the woman on BBC news said it'd be full tonight...I've checked, and you're right...(I shall never trust her again).
Although, I'm not sure how this is possible, but it looked pretty full at 5pm (when I took the shot) but now (11pm) it looks as if it has a slice missing...
Either way it's a lovely clear night, and the moon is superbright.
@lluniau - we will get the full eclipse for around 3 hours between midnight and 3am. Hopefully no cloud cover, which is forecast to be a cloudy night! :(
This is my take on the full moon:
