show us your moon!

February 19th, 2011
this week's moon has been beautiful in washington dc and has become one of my favorite things to photograph. last night i got to experience it as it rose amidst cloud covered skies over the nation's capital. i've seen quite a few excellent moon images while browsing 365. add yours here and let us know how you captured it!

I was told a pic of my bum was not appropriate so I put this on instead.

Here's mine

I tried the night before last, because the cloud movement was beautiful, but it was too hazy for me and I wasn't happy with any of them. Last nights was quite clear, though.

Shutter 1/60th, Aperture f10, ISO 100, focal length300mm

Iso 200
Focal lenght 150 mm.

But settings don`t matter, the shot was pure garbage, the moon was a tiny little thing in the middle,I cropped it (this is like,10 percent of the original full photo),maximised clarity in PS and added the flare in Photoscape to be more... artistic?
I haven`t done any moon shots since then because of 3 reasons: 1-moon shots are cliche , 2-I don`t have the right equipment to take a good shot, and 3-moon shots are cliche
