A pick a photo I made during a short cycle trip. A small bull wonders why I am photographing those flowers. In the Netherlands (how is this in other countries) people are increasingly aware of the rapidly declining number of insects. Therefore more and more verges and field margins are sown with flower mixtures. I guess this is the last month the flowers will bloom.
Beautiful flowers - that bull has very distinctive markings with it's 2 brown eyes! As for insects - here in NZ there is talk of invasive species of insects eg wasps that take the food of our natives....
