Walking through the forest without a telezoom, just my 24-105mm. Saw about 10 deer, running away. Switched my camera to distant focus, max zoom, large ISO range. Just forgot to set f/16 for landscapes to a lower setting. When one deer crossed my path again, I had one option for a quick shot. Because of the overcast weather and f/16, the camera selected ISO10,000, still acceptable. Next time when I go to this part of the national park, I promise to grab my telezoom.
This is excellent and I love how the deer posed for you nicely. Although it was f16 it really doesn't look to dark, I'm sure your ISO setting helped alot with that.
