Oyster girl

Lester and I went to visit our daughter, Barrie, today. She lives in Essex. We went to Southend for a couple of hours and Barrie decided it was time she gave oysters a try. She wasn't overly impressed. She's braver than her parents; neither of us could bring ourselves to taste them!

@bigsusan55 Likewise! The seafood I have tasted (other than common or garden fish) just seems to be variations on salty, slimy, rubber bands.

I've not tried them but am put off by the salty, slimy, rubber band stuff.
From the photos she looks to be enjoying the experience. Perhaps next time the opportunity presents itself I should give it a go!
