Bokeh-dokeh

It's been a day of sunshine and squally showers here today, not a day for going out if you didn't have to. I didn't, so I didn't :-)
Instead, I put the pretty pendant our daughter gave me for Christmas on a piece of card, got out a light and played at manual focusing. I stayed in the auto settings, using macro mode, and just concentrated on trying to get different effects by changing the focus. This one made some pretty bokeh. I've adjusted levels and colour but not sharpened the image, because that would be defeating the object of the exercise.
Love the focus you have achieved. Lovely!!

Brilliant! The focus is great. I love the pretty colours. Keep playing with those settings. It's the only way to get to grips with it :-)

Very cool. I love the crispness at the front of the image and the DOF. What a pretty pendant too.

So beautiful. Both the photo and the pendant. That gives me some more ideas for things to do with beads!
