I spent some time this evening trying out different effects with this composition of candles and glass nuggets.
The candles and flames came out a good colour but the glass nuggets were rather disappointing, so I changed the shot to a b&w one.
I didn't notice until I was too tired to start again that I'd still got the ISO setting at 1600 after yesterday!

That came out really well. So frustrating when you find that you have left an odd setting on the camera and have been wondering why things were not working out!
This is beautiful!! And I made that same ISO mistake just a couple days ago. Doesn't the camera know that it should magically return to 'usual' when I'm done??
