This is the entrance to Hereford cathedral. The tree of life is a symbol in many religions and cultures and a favourite of mine. I liked the way it's been depicted and used here.
Lester has been doing melodeon stuff with someone from the area and we used it as an excuse for a day out today. Hereford's an interesting mix of the old and the newish and the cathedral is beautiful.
There was an art exhibition being held behind the cathedral, including paintings by 6th form students of the cathedral school which were excellent and showed a lot of promise.
Critique welcome. Veteran 365er, 2011 vintage. Only posting occasionally and irregularly now.
I'm an abstract photography enthusiast but not exclusively so.

Great composition, always hard to show the beauty of these floors., the wording and mosaics show up really whenon close up. The background arches and architecture are really grand and impressive lookimg. Sounds like you had a great day.
@jennywren Thank you, Jen. :-) I meant to suggest looking on large view and then completely forgot - thanks for the reminder, Just editing.
You and Lester get around!
