You often see them, don't you? Toys that are much-loved but dropped and then picked up and put somewhere prominent by a caring passer-by in the hope that the owner's parents will spot them.
I often wonder if there's a mum or dad somewhere trying to console a tearful child. A new, replacement toy is never the same.
I spotted this little character* propped up on a wall while I was walking home after doing night shots at the church. I hope she and her friend are re-united soon.
*Does anyone know who she is? With two adult 'children', I'm well out of the loop of TV/film character toys.

I'm an abstract photography enthusiast but not exclusively so.

I walked out of a shop the other day and there was a small packet of sweets a children had obviously dropped and the contents all spilt out. Same feeling.
The lighting and colour in this are gorgeous, Alison - and this was in the dark? Like the others, I've no idea who the character is. I bet there is a playgroup at the church and it belongs to one of the children there.
@sabresun I haven't been back to that part of the High Street to see since I toook the shot. I guess it will have gone by now but who knows if it went to its rightful owner (let's hope so), got adopted, or just swept up by a cleaner? She was standing on an elevated section of pavement to clarify the remark about the cleaner.
@janturnbull Thank you, Janet. It was taken in the High Street at night under sodium street lamps. Sodium lamps are normally a pain, I think but just for once they were A Good Thing because of bringing out the colour of the bricks and the toy's jumpsuit. It being orange was a gift!
You sure have a good eye as well as imagination for an interesting shot. Well spotted and love the lighting and textures you captured, too. I have no idea who this can be.
@sabresun I was concentrating on making different exposures in order to do a photo merge, so only did one subject. In my usual style of jumping in at the deep end I'm going to need 3-4 layers to make the whole thing work, so it may never see the light of day, so to speak! :-D
The processing is super in your photo.
