I occasionally knit lacy scarves. They need to be wet stretched (blocked) on completion in order to show the patttern off properly. I keep a set of interlocking, neoprene-foam floor tiles for this purpose - they're ideal because you can pin into them over and over again without wrecking them.
They're also handy for making a fall-back shot when you run into problems with the one you'd planned for the day. :-D

Reminds me of the Giant's Causeway, Northern Ireland. It has that look about it that it'll last forever, the floor tiles that is. I do like the very well defined shadows and contrasts.
