I likes a drop of good beer, I do, I likes a drop of good beer...
Although I think any member of CAMRA (CAMpaign for Real Ale) would blench at the thought of any beer stored in aluminium kegs being described as good!
I took this last Thursday, when we went to the Rising Sun pub at Berkhamsted where Lester's Morris side was dancing, but haven't had chance to process it until today.
The title is the first couple of lines of the chorus from a folk song, one of many extolling the virtues of beer.

Liked seeing these battered, bruised, colorful kegs lined up and wondering how many drops of beer you could get from them. Really enjoy 365 Project...not only do I get photographic inspiration, but also an education...had to Google Morris Men Dancers!!
@connie865 Thank you, Connie. Yes, it's surprising the amount of information you pick up here and you'll probably find yourself taking photos of things and then looking up info. about them for the captions.
I've found I remember what I learn really well as a result of taking a photo and checking for info.about the subject. The camera's a great educational tool, wish I could gave had one at school!
@crewnelson Not really but a good landlord will provide free beer during/after dancing and may lay on a few nibbles as well. The landlord sometimes get quite a lot of extra trade on the night s/he has dancers at the pub so it's good business sense to encourage the Morris back = a free pint.
I don't really like a drop of beer unless it's bloody hot and I'm bloody thirsty! Lovely fun image, I look forward to seeing where you went on your trip!
If I hadn't read your commentary, I wouldn't have guessed these as kegs of beer. Those are so colorful and beautifully detailed. And what interesting information about them.
Hee hee...I've heard of lining your shot glasses up...but kegs of beer?? That's hardcore! So your delay in processing was because you still had a hangover? LOL! Great fun shot!
Excellent. Love the line up. Fun title too. I do like a drop myself, but have little time for the pub these days. You are a barrel of fun Alison! Tee hee.
