Not the best shot in the world bit I thought it was fun. Taken at last evening's Morris dance out. Traditionally, Cotswold Morris sides have an animal; Aldbury's is this horse - Dobbin. Morris animals can get away with things that mere mortals would blench to try; I've seen grown men have their pints stolen by a Morris animal and laugh about it!
Anyway, this is the end of a dance called Bonny Green Garters which is the traditional finish to the dancing session. Here (some other sides do other things) the musicians (that silvery head is one of them and it belongs to Lester) move into the middle of the set - along with Dobbin! - and the dancers surround them.
Tut! Somebody has not ironed his wavers! ;-)
