seesaw

For the get pushed challenge. A close up of an inanimate object. This challenge is really really making me wish I had a macro lens. This is as close as I get without losing focus. This was with my zoom lens though which I was having an easier time with but I think I need to try my daily lens again...maybe I'm missing something.

this is an interesting take on a seesaw :) i'm not sure you really need a macro lens... maybe think of the shot as being just a bit of the whole, rather than a macro?

I really like the joint with the board. You've got that great flaking, green and white paint, and rusty metal with the old, cracking wood. There are a lot of neat details. Both pieces provide movement from left to right.

I agree with Northy, but can also relate. Having splurged on one, I have to admit it's a pretty phenomenal piece of equipment.

I think this came out great!

I like how your eyes get drawn toward the board when you first look at it. Bottom up! Great composition.

I think you've done a great job. I particularly like the peeling rusty paint and the cracked wood. Very interesting take on a seesaw.

Funny, I find my "daily lens" better than my zoom for closeups. I wonder if it's a personal thing, or differs between lenses.

Love the colours and "well used" feeling that the multi-coloured flaking paint gives it. This seesaw has lived!

love the bokeh and texture. I think since it is mother's day on Sunday you should really be getting a macro:)
