How do you get this effect, Edie? I mean, you've got the movement there, you've got this lovely "watercolour painting" feeling. And yet there's no blur, really. Obviously it's not pin sharp, because that's part of the effect, but damn. Is it just the high ISO?
@pflaume Thank you Lisa...I love it every time you say it. @suesmith No! Not even a little bit boring. I almost didn't post this one. I have another angle that is more 'normal' (clearer) and I wondered if anyone else would like this one or if it was just me. I love your feedback. Thank you. @Cheesebiscuit Okay. I don't know. The ISO is high. I wanted to try higher but I want to wait until I have a shot I won't miss if I screw it up. I think it may be the aperture too. I have been playing with settings and I just like how this one looks but I don't know WHY it looks like this. Some of them are clearer with the same settings but the movement was not as quick so I think the movement is key. I had a few of my beach swing shots come out like this as well...and had (probably obviously) a pretty hard time choosing which beach shots to post. I think the ones that are clearer I snapped as they reached the peak of their height and the less clear (for lack of a better description) they were either on their way up or down. Helpful?
@Cheesebiscuit We are fine love. Thank you for asking. Just one of those crazy weeks. I hope to be up and running again soon. @pennyp Thank you so much Penny! I am usually a lot more active than this. Will check out your album soon. It's just been a crazy week.

(and I'm going to follow you now)
I hope you and the kids are okay, by the way. Haven't "seen" you in a few days.

When isn't it "one of those weeks", by the way!
