I was invited a month ago to a Private View at the Landmark by the Friends of the Bushy and Home Park for the artwork submitted to their competitions last month. It’s always nice to go to a private view and I hadn’t realised that my winning entry to the competiton for next years calendar would also be on display with the other winners.
I went on my own but I knew quite a few people and caught up with my friend Cathy, a very good photographer who had come direct from photographing Zippos circus! The sun is lower now as we head into autumn but this has the advantage that it shines light through the stained glass into the building, quite stunning.
