This tomb looks like it has seen some weather! Is that damage from water? Makes for some great texture whatever caused it. I love how the cross seems to have made it through in better condition than the rest of it.

In the 1800's, families were expected to maintain their own graves, but as families moved away or died out, many graves were neglected. Today a volunteer sexton and board are working to improve the cemetery.
