Sort of sad- but in some ways you can understand. There have been some kids around here that don't respect other's property and trash it. When the parents ask for help in repairing things the other parents won't take responsibility or make their children take responsibility. Everybody loses no matter which way you look at it.
@olivetreeann@bkbinthecity I can understand, too. There is also the possibility of a lawsuit if a child gets hurt. I actually don't mind the fence, which is next to my driveway, because it gives me more privacy, too. But my favorite two neighborhood children think the fence is just "rude!"
We're hoping to put up a fence this spring...not to keep the kids out, but to keep the neighbor's dogs out... Always frustrating stepping in doggie doo when you don't have a dog!
