Iced Azalea

I realize our temperatures (it stayed around 30 degrees F) seem warm to most parts of the U.S. and Canada, but today's weather is unusual for Baton Rouge. We had sleet off and on all day. The interstate highways and both bridges over the Mississippi River are closed, stranding truckers, travelers and commuters.

Amazing to see something iced over in your neck of the woods! We were just watching the weather channel before and saw the artic vortex (or whatever they're calling this) and it was swooping down through you and turning upward and passing through us. And Alaska was 11 degrees warmer than usual. Crazy!!
