Periodically a wave of nostalgia comes over me, and I bring out my old Pentax film lenses and experiment with them on a digital camera. This is one of my favorite lenses, just the basic 50mm kit lens I got with my K1000 in about 1980. For a long time, it was the only lens I had--but that was before I got into kids' sports.
