Goodwood Plantation

This old plantation house (circa 1852) used to be almost hidden from the street by trees and overgrown shrubs. Its 17 acres have now been cleared for 47 (!) new homes, described as "high-end estates;" the old house will remain as a clubhouse and office space.
Right now, it seems sort of exposed and forlorn, but at least it will be preserved.

Beautiful home- it's sort of sad the land has been sold off, but better than demolishing it. Nicely captured.
