Another oldie, taken last September. I've posted a number of shots of this site. My husband and I toured it many years ago, but then it closed. It's open now for tours through a private New Orleans tour company but it's a little pricey: a day's tour for up to five people is $950.
It's interesting that this plantation and a number of others are now helping the descendants of formerly enslaved people trace their ancestry.
