These two six-week-old kittens recently became eligible for adoption.
Today was a busy day at the animal shelter where I volunteer. Before the hurricane, it asked people to provide temporary foster homes for the animals, and about 250 left the shelter for a week. Today they began to come back. Several people had fallen in love with their foster pets and were adopting them permanently. Lots of happy people and animals.
