Saddlebags

This bumblebee is so laden with pollen that he can hardly haul himself up over the branch stem to get at the next blossom. The shrub is a caryopteris blue mist, which blooms in August and is a bumblebee favorite.
A beautiful composition. Lovely colours.

Nice...one time, I swear I saw a bumblebee have to unpack his saddle bags so he could fly off.....so funny!
