It's been a while since I've visited...I used to come jog on your path almost everyday after work -- winter, summer, spring, fall. I haven't seen you since January of this year.
I know it's been awhile. I've moved away from you. I've started doing other things to keep fit. But no matter how long it's been, you don't care. You don't care if I don't run as fast as the others, if I might cry while I'm running after a tough day (yeah, I have done that on occasion.) You don't care if I stay longer than intended because an awesome song has just come on my iPod, just BEGGING me to jog a little longer, a little faster. And when I leave you, you never make me feel guilty if I don't come back tomorrow because you'll still be there, encouraging me to keep on track.
I promise it won't be too long until my next visit.

@jean_willis the amount of sky I included was purposeful because of the bird. Were it not for that, I would have composed the picture differently to include more of the water in the shot. Alas my iPhone can only do so much. Thanks for picking up on the bird.
