There's a song in my brain today. And it's been rattling itself around in my head. I listened to it on repeat on the commute home, getting lost in it.
The beginning is kind of discordant...like the music is confused, trying to find its beat...
searching, searching until it fits. And then...when all the elements come together, it unfolds in a chaotic and beautiful way. With reckless abandon.
I may be stretching it...but the journey this song can take you on...it's kind of like the first time with a new lover. You search and explore and tempt the other, trying to find the rhythm with their body and their movements. Awkward fumblings at first...until...you establish juuuuuust the right pace, the right cadence. And gradually, the excitement builds up and builds up...until...you surrender to your lover, letting yourself be taken to new heights...and finally...it all comes together in a climactic moment.
