"Let the wine of friendship never run dry" ~ Les Misérables
A glass of Prosecco at Gottino, West Village, NYC.
Today was abso-fucking-lutely gorgeous. This weekend so far has been wonderfully spent with some of the greatest friends I have. Isn't it something when you can meet up with someone you haven't seen in so long and still pick up where you've left off? And there's no hard feelings that you haven't been in touch as frequently as you'd like because you both understand that, well, life happens but it doesn't mean you care about them any less.
I'm grateful for the people in my life and hope that I am as good a friend, sister, confidant, etc. to the people who are those things to me.
@adamj thanks, Adam :). I was pleasantly surprised when I got the wine glasses caught the reflection of the string lights that were hanging in the garden. Isn't it the best when things turn out better than expected?
Love the shot and your narrative, but what I love even more is that this wasn't taken with your iphone, meaning you took an expensive camera with you. Would you have done that before starting this project? I know I wouldn't have! Now everything is a photo op!
@carolb thanks, Carol! Yes everything is a photo op now lol. I've taken my 'real' camera to snap these kinds of photos before starting this project but, this time around, I don't feel as awkward as doing it as I used to.
@tonydebont it is, indeed!
@snaphappy1 Back at ya, hon!
@denn_ice thanks, Dennis!
@andyn thank you! I liked the colors too.
