I've lived in many apartments in NYC, the majority of which did not have laundry on the premises. I absolutely hated (still do) lugging bags of laundry to the laundromat and then waiting for it to be done. Even when we lived in a condo building and had laundry conveniently in the basement, it was still an annoying chore because it was coin/card operated.
I'm doing laundry. Oh happy day. There needs to be a sarcasm font. :P
Also currently listening to the Yankees-A's game on the radio as I cook and wait for my laundry to dry. They're losing as of 3:09 PM. :(

Laundry sucks! although, I find folding towels therapeutic :) All three of the quarters were struck prior to 1999. Nice focal usage and 75 cents is a bargain.
@adamj Actually, I enjoy folding towels as well, believe it or not. What I hate folding is that damn fitted sheet for the bed. So annoying! There's a method to it that I have never mastered. And in the building where I now live, $.75 for drying is definitely a bargain. When I used to live in Manhattan it was twice that...maybe more.
I just don't think I could go back to a living space without a washer/dryer. It's just one of those conveniences I wouldn't want to live without. Cool shot!
