I wish I could describe how pretty the sky was tonight when I got off the train. This isn't the best shot but I had to take it. No editing. The colors were gorgeous.
It's been warm around here lately. I love warm weather but these weather patterns are odd. Today was muggy and humid and rainy. Blah.
On my walk to the office, a man who was wheeling around one of those office chairs with wheels on it...offered to wheel me to work. Lol.
Someone bought me fried rice as a thank you gift today. Lol. Very sweet - it's the thought that counts, right? Didn't eat the rice, however. This same gentleman once said I looked like a Dominican barbie doll. He's sweet. Though I don't think I look like a doll of any kind and I don't know what a Dominican Barbie doll may look like, but I'll take it as a compliment. Especially since I'm not Dominican.
I told him, "¡Muchisimas Gracias!"
You know, I speak Spanish every day at work. I understand it better and faster than I can speak it. It's kind of frustrating.
Oh well.
Hasta mañana, bitches. Err, I mean putas. No, I mean amigos. Jajajaja.
The sky does look rather fierce. I would keep this in my collection of backgrounds and when you feel like playing in Photoshop, use this sky in another shot! It would be perfect for when you want to post something "angry" or make a fantasy-type conglomeration. Sorry...waxing poetic here but it's a "hot" shot.
@thomastoth no need to apologize! I like your suggestion. I don't have or know how to use photoshop though. Only iPhoto and Aviary through my Flickr account is what I use to edit my pics. Would like to play around with photoshop though.
@baznman@jbc2013@adamj thanks for taking a look! This picture doesn't do it any justice though. And I wish I had my DSLR with me instead. The colors were kinda amazing.
That's some sky! Great shot and love the commentary as always :) next time accept the offer of the chair ride, would make a great photo opportunity for someone! :)
@mcmary thanks, Mary. I had a couple of other shots too, but this one was the most brilliant. I have a later shot where the sky was mostly purple.
