@kirtcarter thank you! That particular song, I love to jog or walk to. It often makes me think of being on the train, walking to work, my evening jogs after a tough day. Helps me relax. Funny thing is I never hear of Aphex Twin until this 17 year old boy introduced me to their songs lol. I can dig electronic and ambient music sometimes...especially when I don't want to listen to words...
@kirtcarter p.s. That 17-year old boy comment of mine sounds bad lol. But I included the detail because I tend to assume that most teens these days seem to only know the mainstream shit that's on the radio like Miley Cirus and whoever the fuck.
@fauxtography365 Ha! Youth right? Few kids learn that you have to dig to find the good stuff...don't just accept what society throws at you. It must be easier for kids today tho, growing up with the internet. I remember spending hours at the record store, sifting through rows of unknowns...reaching past mainstream propaganda, trying to find that one song that moved me. In many cases it was something from the forgotten past, or the overlooked and undersold. Somewhere life got in the way and I don't take the time anymore...it is a young persons game.
Cool how the light refracts through the smudged glass. I never would have thought that greasy fingerprints could look so colorful. The video is nice, too. Aphex twin was a perfect choice.
@zakelius hey thanks for stopping by! I wish the clip was a bit longer to get into the real meat of the song...but Instagram only allows 15 secs of video. Thanks again for the comment!
@jbc2013 the light through the glass this morning kept me mesmerized in a way. Or perhaps it was just too fucking early lol. But it was pretty and I wanted to take a pic and vid. A way of giving a glimpse into my morning...
@thirdjoe@anzere03@04haze thank you, gentlemen! Wish I had my better camera with me when I took this but I've been neglecting to bring it with me. Appreciate your visits and comments as always!
