Title of pic is a lyric from the song. Just stuck in my head for some reason. And, well, the pic is of steps so I thought it somewhat fit.
I realized if it weren't for my phone cam, I wouldn't be able to complete this project with no fillers. And I love how I can make little videos on my phone. Being able to do half of my 365ing from my phone, I've been able to participate without it consuming my life. Usually I do my commenting and perusing in the hour I commute to work or home from it. Partially because I can't and don't do any personal internet stuff at work. And I can't imagine spending hours in front of a laptop a day for this when I get home.
Home from work again. It's a cold/sinus thing, not the flu. In my 37 years, I've never gotten the flu shot. Even my dad, the good doctor, has never recommended or made any of his children get the flu shot...although I'm sure he administers many to his patients during the season.
Either way, fuck this being sick shit. Truth be told, I could've gone in but I don't want to get others sick and it's not cool when your mental health provider is trying to counsel you and she's snotting up and coughing all over the place.
I miss work.
My head hurts and I'm still congested. Going back to sleep.
Lovely shot...the color play and dominant orange make it a very seasonal shot, but as always, I'm partial to the textures and layering of the elements. It's funny how pausing for just 30 seconds before taking the shot can make all the difference!

I think I get a flu shot here in PNG... not sure. I get a whole bunch of shots being here, I just wish they mixed up all the medicines and give me one shot instead of a dozen little ones.
Back in '92 I had surgery and took 8 days off work... I've had 2 other sick days since then.

@bobfoto I hate getting shots...the whole fear thing I have with sharp objects. Only 2 sick days since your surgery? Wow. I used to hardly ever take sick days when I worked in a different industry. But now I take advantage of them...if I'm feeling physically or mentally off my game I won't be serving my clients well and even inadvertently endanger their well being - physical or mental. I feel less guilty about it but I hate missing work because I really do love what I do...
@fauxtography365 - I do dislike the fact that someone wants to poke a piece of metal inside of me through my skin. yeah 2 individual days for some food poisoning. I figure if I can't make it to work in the time between toilet requirements, I may as well stay at home. But if I can get there and back, I'm good for a day. One time I did have to hit the public toilet mid journey....
