Next Year... I promise to...

Five more days!!!!!! Woo hoo!

Sooooo...I never make NYE resolutions because I'm always working on healthy living, exercising, career goals, and saving money. I don't need the turn of a new year to mark those goals for me. They are always constants. And I know hard work is needed to get what I want. I don't mind the work, really. I like the challenge :)

But while I have no "resolutions", there are a couple of things I want to remember to do in 2014.

For 2014, I really wanna get back into film. I have two film cameras I haven't used in a few years.

Maybe I'll take a photography course. I dunno. I had thought about getting a new DSLR. But decided that the thing that needs improvement isn't my camera but my skills.

I also want to meet up with some NYC instagrammers. I know Instagram is horribly trendy and some people hate it but I totally love the street photography the NYC instagrammers capture. To me as a New Yorker, that's real NYC.

But I'd love to have another NYC photo walk with 365ers though. Would be fun.

In 2014 I need to catch a Yankee game. Each year I usually go once or twice at least. I didn't go at all in 2013.

I also wanna try to stop cutting my own hair and find someone who can do it right.

Your caption made me laugh...I agreed with most of it (though to an inexperienced male your hair always looked good albeit cut in-house!)...but the Wonder Woman set really cracked me up...but you have to show us if you really do get to getting it hehehe :)

@jpgiorgio thanks! Well the last haircut I got was by a professional back in August. I hated it. But I hate most haircuts. I then end up giving myself a trim and I really need to have a professional doing it the right way.

Love those half-face images you post. Great colour match on your lips and top. I don't set myself many challenges, just staying health is almost a full-time job. My plan is to visit as many places in this world as my money and health will allow. More cruises in 2014 !!

@tonydebont thanks! Believe it or not I don't plan my lips to match my top. Kinda just works out that way lol. When I have time and money, i would love to travel as well. Hope you get to do a lot of it in 2014!

Nothing wrong with those types of shots that you take with your iPhone. I like this one. I don't make New Year's resolutions either. Why wait until the new year to better one self? As for myself, I want to focus more on my studies. I know I told you that I would do another 365 project, but now I'm not so sure. Most of my time is spent in this little town that I live in, and it's hard to find anything to shoot. When I venture out of this town and go into Seoul, I see tons of stuff. Sure, I could try and go into Seoul some more, but that sort of conflicts with my intent to focus on my studies more.

I want to be invited to a costume party (i guess I could wait until Halloween) so that I can wear a Tarzan outfit. That loin cloth is a really nice buffed suede. I like your pink softness.

@adamj Why don't you just throw your own costume party instead of waiting to be invited? Or you could just stand in Times Square next to the naked cowboy and wear your Tarzan (suede, really? 😬) cloth any ol' time of year. Mission accomplished. See, I have great ideas.

Beautiful selfie as always. As for resolutions....a great man I once knew taught me the greatest lesson in life...."Hell is paved with good intentions" I'm not a religious person at all, but that statement has gotten me through more hard times then I can remember. So I don't do the resolution thing. I do what needs to be done, and now with the kids, I don't even do things for myself. Its all about them. Keep a roof over the head, food on the table, and try my hardest to keep them smiling and enjoying life.
