Ever think you're kinda not into something anymore and then something happens and then...you realize you're still sooooo into it? Like a song you keep playing over and over and you think "eh it's JUST alright" but then it hits you the right way and then - BOOM. In lurve again.
Lol am kinda flipping the bird here. Still cold AF today. Yesterday some dude was yelling in the street as we all got caught in the deathly wind: "THIS IS NOT RIGHT. THIS IS NOT RIGHT."
No. No, it wasn't.
I wonder how many pics of my lips I have over the years. I need to stop. But it's easy to photograph. Maybe I should tag my pics. I hear that's what all the cool kids are doing. Well...I never aspired to be cool so screw that.
Anyway. Just felt like sharing. 'Til next time, people!
@bobfoto thanks, Jason. Trying to stay warm and also trying not to sound like a whiny bitch about the weather but it's hard when you I can't avoid the cold. No convenience of a car to stay warm so I am outside waiting for buses or subways. It sucks. :(
@fauxtography365 - I've never lived in a city that was capable of me being carless. I have survived without a car from time to time but it was testing to say the least. The convenience of car ownership comes with the inconvenience of keeping it on the road and keeping it housed. There is a guy in Sydney who has set up a website booking service where you buy a car but then when you are working for 8 hours of the day, the car is for hire and is used by people by the hour to run errands and get from here to there and the car is required to be back at a certain spot at a certain time. The car is tracked by GPS and the car earns money while you work. You no longer have parking fees and they say your car is more secure because it is being used and moving around.
@bobfoto oh wow that sounds like a kinda near service. Having a care in Manhattan is so inconvenient when it comes to parking. While it does provide shelter from the elements, it is expensive to find parking. Some spaces cost several hundred dollars a month to keep in a garage. My husband and I once had a car when we lived in Chelsea and it was a total chore trying to find a space and avoid paying a garage fee. As for that system you described, sounds cool but I don't think it would fly in NYC. No one trusts anyone with anything here. Not in a New York minute. Tis too bad.
@fauxtography365 - yeah while the idea is new, it seems to be working but they are waiting for the day when a car doesn't show up. Not unlike a hire car or a taxi really...
