Couldn't get out of my driveway this morning. Couldn't get into Manhattan this morning so...SNOW DAY FOR Ms. T!!!
Went out for a walk in the snow. Took some pics. Had a nice long chat with my neighbor who I found out is a yoga instructor. He's mad cool. Another neighbor was out snowblowing his walkway and asked me if I had any good shots and told me to check out a nearby creek for photo ops.
Such friendliness this morning.
And Saabs are generally good in the snow...Husband took the automatic car to rehearsal today so I'm stuck with this one...the manual transmission. Had to drive it a short distance earlier...But driving a stick shift in the snow is challenging for me. In some ways I find it fun. In other ways, it's completely nerve wracking. Any tips?
@mcmary it looks horrible walking out on the city streets. Been watching the news all morning. Not looking forward to it tomorrow. but yay for the snow day today :)

@grizzlysghost ah that's a nice one! 1990, eh? Mine's a '92 - hatchback. I love the silhouette of any of the old Saabs - such neat looking cars that drive well. I also have another Saab of the same model, but a 2002 version, after GM took it over, I think. Not as cool looking as our older one, though.
Geeze...this is impressive...I mean...its lovely to look at but if you have to live with this it becomes a nightmare to get on with your day! Love driving myself (thugh not In Maltese traffic!) and cannot stand driving automatic transmission myself - totally prefer manual as driving feels more involving and fun :)
