Of you and I engaged in a kiss
The sweat of your body covers me
Can you, my darling
Can you picture this...
~Prince
(Still in a bit of an emotional place but I'm not scared or sad anymore. Worried about my own health lately on top of family issues. This pic is a reminder for me...for whenever or if ever I may fall ill...that I looked young and healthy once.)
Ms. T you will always be young at heart and beautiful not only in the body but the spirit. Your photos are enticing, wonderfully artistic, but your words, your sharing; that is so very special. I understand the emotional place when all seems lost especially if we project it into the future. It is not so! I Known it is not so! Be well in body and spirit !
@tosee your comment is thoughtful and lovely, Tom. Thank you. It's been a bit tough lately, doing the work I do with helping others -- a lot of whom are very sick and dying -- and reflecting on my own mortality and not letting those issues impact my work negatively. I share thoughts here with very little to zero expectation that people will respond or listen. I pretty much assume people won't. It's not that I am that pessimistic about human kind. Well, maybe I am a little... But I really don't share for the sake of getting a response. More so to get it off my chest as I have to keep it in, especially for the work I do helping others. So thanks again for taking the time. :)
@zosimasy I also enjoy what people write too. I think it definitely makes it a bit more personal, a further look into the character of the person. With a majority of my pics, I write a little...or a lot. Sometimes to explain why I took or posted something. But I am working on letting the pics speak for themselves. Probably better that way lol.
@04haze thanks, Lee. I'll be back on top somehow and soon enough, regardless. I am too goddamn stubborn not to be. :)
Less is more - great lighting - great tones - very soft focus - most people could not duplicate this image or do half the job you did - great job -this is why I keep coming back to 365 -
Very nice picture. One of the things I find so attractive about you, is the way you write and share very personal things. I can see as a councilor, you need to keep your personal feelings out of your work, so if this is a place for you to be able to get it out, them by all means, do so. We all need some form of an outlet. Take care of your self :)
@baznman thanks, Baz. Your comment is so nice. I just don't wanna be THAT girl that just goes on and on and on. And everyone is really thinking, oh god shut up please! 'cuz sometimes I even get sick of dealing with or venting my own thoughts lol.
What a nice way to start my morning by looking at this supremely sexy and beautiful selfie you have made. Very, very nice in b&w. You really do have a beautiful body. I do hope your health issues are resolved quickly and completely. You certainly look healthy :)
When I shoot boudoir, I call this type of shot a "White Sheet". As in, "Are you interested in doing a White Sheet?" The B&W is a nice touch...I recently did a shoot where the woman told me that, at 40, she was so happy with her body for the first time in her life. She wanted pictures help "remember" what her body was like. I found it interesting, but now your shot has a similar message.
I have a saying that I use all the time - "Nothing really really good or really really bad lasts forever." It helps me when the moment is so stressful that it's overwhelming. I hope it helps you. I have to agree with Danny @soboy5...I hope your health issues are resolved quickly and completely. :) Be well my friend.
@thomastoth thanks for the well wishes. I love that saying you included. I might have to steal that and use it in my own work with clients. :P Wise words. Also, I can definitely relate to what that woman said. It's funny because I have been the same size and shape since I was 18 but I wasn't comfortable in my skin. 20 years later, things may not be as firm or smooth as they used to be, but I don't give a fuck anymore. I also know what to emphasize what looks good lol (at least I hope so). I wish I had that confidence then to be like, this is me - love it or not - I love the body I love in. And if my body changes...this is a nice reminder for me.
One of your most revealing selfie. Interesting the general per-occupation with body shape in the world at large. When you pass 70 it ceases to be so important. Each new day is a blank page to start over, a precious gift.
The photo...bellissima! The sentiment...a tinge of melancholy and a lot of perspective. I've come to know that most of your posts are not only about the shot, but what your are trying to convey. You are very thoughtful. This makes your posts that much more meaningful to me. I hope you had a pleasant weekend my friend.
I am just looking through your pics after not being on here for a while. Beautiful shot...but more importantly, I hope everything is ok...sending love and prayers!
