Sometimes I wish I'd done high school in the '80s, simply for the music. And the hair. Oh the hair...
My husband experienced high school in the 80s. He actually saw Hall & Oates in concert. He was 13 years old or something. He said they KILLED it... Lol. For reals, though, they probably did. Not gonna lie. I like me some Hall & Oates, if the mood strikes. And so do you.
Don't.
Even.
Act like you don't.
When I think of '80s high school life, John Hughes movies and Fast Times at Ridgemont High come to mind...
Anyway...pic has nothing to do with anything, as is often the case. So if you've read this far, I give you a gold star. Just looking through my photos and thought this one was pretty. I had dropped this lipstick right before I took the pic, hence the fucked up tip. Happy Tuesday!
oh, thanks, now I have it stuck in my head, arg.... :) were you a 90's HS then? I was, but if you want to HS in the 80's then you look pretty good based on some of your photos.
@soboy5@zosimasy "aaaand IIIII would do ALMOST anything that you want me toooooooo. But I can't go for that." ;). Actually hadn't seen that thread but to participate I need to get my creative thinking cap on and figure out how to take my clothes off without revealing all my lady bits. Can't just give dat shit away for free :P plus y'all are tired of my nekkid ass anyway.
@thomastoth haha ohh the fashion. It kills me sometimes how TODAY I see these hipsters who were probably born in 1987 (and typically from Williamsburg or other trendy parts of Brooklyn) wearing styles from the 80s, trying to rock 'em like they're cool. Though some people actually can pull it off. I remember seeing people wear those fads growing up and they've come back. I guess that's true of every decade though....
@thomastoth p.s. Thanks for the comment on the pic. And we didn't even talk about the suits H&O are wearing in the video. Can you say fucking awesome? Lol.
I thought Hall & Oates were old in HS, and watching that, they look like kids!
I think I still have my collection of skinny ties stashed somewhere, Just. In. Case. I use to were 'em with a polo shirt and acid washed jeans, cuffs rolled up, OF COURSE!
@baznman oh man skinny ties. acid wash jeans. i had a pair of those. also i feel like in the '80s....everyone looked like they were in their 40s, no matter what age they were lol. And people in their 40s now look younger than people who were in their 40s back in the 1980s...
Technically perfect capture. Fantastic focus, colour depth and composition. Oh what bull !! I have to admit that I wasn't into music in the 80s so have no notion of what you're on about.
On reflection, all of this is totally irrelevant but shows I dropped in.
Love your quirky humour.
@sarahview thanks, Sarah! I wanna make your lip balm haha.
@tonydebont thank you for your input about the picture! Nothing is irrelevant when it's stopping by to make conversation. Although this is supposedly a photo site, I am more amused or impressed by the interactions. That's what like about the community and why I keep posting. I enjoy when people show they've dropped in, no matter how infrequent or in whatever way they decide to chime in. Although the intermittent stealthy faves I get kinda make things a fun mystery for me lol. Ace membership would solve that. But, sadly, even spending the little money it costs is not at all a priority for me.
@paulty ooh thankee for the fave. Made me smile :)
@amandal I promise not to eat my lipstick anymore! Haha. But yes you do need to get a nice red lippie. Every woman needs one :)
Love the smudge and the bokeh. Nice job.

Oh, nice sparkly shot, too!
