@amandal@jmrittle thank you both! Am posting this from my phone so I don't know what this looks like on the big screen. I saved this pic to my phone from my original pic on Flickr, so the quality has been downgraded.
@joeboo at the risk of sounding obnoxious, I quite like it too. I had actually taken this shot accidentally...hadn't focused the lens. When I uploaded it, I saw that it looked cool with the sparkly sunny bokeh and ended up liking it as much as the focused shot, seen here: http://365project.org/fauxtography365/365/2014-04-23 thanks again for your kind words :)
@tonydebont thank you. I have trouble just letting a picture "say a thousand words" but I had been looking for a quote to go with this pic. Not sure it matches exactly but I do think the pic and image both leave something to ponder....
@tonydebont. Grrrr. I meant the *quote and image leave something to ponder*. Not the "pic and image". Redundant. I'm having trouble with technology today lol.
I think the shot being out of focus works really well! love the saturation of the colors and think the 2 work really well together. I try to watch the sunset as often as I can :)
Being an ignorant Brit, I had to google Ms Angelou...
Wow.
