I remember my first kiss with husband. We were watching a movie at my place after we had gone out to the bar for a drink. My supposedly serious boyfriend at the time was on Long Island or some shit like that, getting wasted with his college buddies. In those days I was (maybe still kinda am in some ways) an even-Steven kinda gal...as in, if he was gonna go out with his friends and not invite me, then I was gonna do the same...maybe even one-up him, if I could. Yes, that's immature but I've grown out of that behavior.
Anyway, when husband and I kissed... Oh man. I can't even describe it. That night he also slept over. Literally. I mean we slept in the same bed and cuddled and kissed. Nothing more. Almost like teenagers, trying to save themselves. Which was and is soooooooo hard to do, particularly when you're an adult and already have done it and it can be pretty easy to skip over or rush the making out and heavy petting and getting as close as you possibly can without removing clothes and go right to having sex.
We have talked about how special and amazing that night was. I was 27 or 28, I think. He was 32 or 33. Certainly not the first kiss for either of us...but it is the first kiss I remember with the most detail. Kissing him that night felt exhilarating and fun and a bit naughty and...like...home. If that makes any sense.
Anyway.
Lost my thoughts. Had a story about the man who calls me Jessica but I've now forgotten lol.
Pic taken on the train ride to Manhattan this morning. My hair is a wild mess. I have some 17 pics left until I conclude my project for real this time. Hope I can come up with something good.
