But I thought Sundays were for selfies

Pic taken in 2015, posted elsewhere. Let's see how this is received here. This place is funny for things like that.

HOW BRAVE OF ME. lol. What a weird word to describe this kind of photo. But someone might say it here. And some of you know my feelings about that.

As you may recall, I used to do Sunday selfies. Maybe I will again if I do a new project 365.

But it's 2017. Maybe I'll do something new.

In 2016, I turned 40. Fucking 40! I didn't feel it, until months after, I was at the doctor and she was all, "So, yeah, I'm gonna order you to have a mammogram. Not that I see anything concerning. It's just you're at that age."

At that age.

That phrase never precipitates or follows something positive.

So here's to 40 and having mammograms and shit like that. Ironic...didn't plan to tell that story but I guess it goes good with the pic. LOLOLOL.
Here's to 40 years young ;)

Excellent selfie. Love the texture, the curves and the simplicity of the B&W. Can imagine this in a gallery. Fav

@tonydebont thanks! I took this pic on a whim, after a workout, and my hand was shaky. But I liked the texture of the skin...it's imperfect and real.

@fauxtography365 It's precisely the sheen of perspiration on your skin that makes this image stand out... and the tonal values are perfect. I can't imagine why anyone would want to say anything other than Fav.
