Brilliant.. great light and i love the textures and footprints in the wet sand. love, too, the groins with their shadows and reflections.. great leading lines.. absolutely love how you've used the groin to shield the sun.. the wispy clouds are fab too..
@fbailey Luck didn't bring a fabulous composition, you did.. Luck had nothing to do with your excellent choice of using the groin to block the over-bright sun, you did it.. The PoV was not luck/chance.. it was carefully worked out, by you - not lady luck..
you got lucky with the weather, all else was totally down to you..
i think you do not know how very capable and knowledgeable you are, in photography. have a bit of faith in yourself and your capabilities.. your followers do.. :-)
@jorlam what a tremendously supportive comment - sincere thanks. What I find so incredibly frustrating is my inability to produce something like this on a reasonably frequent basis. I realise daily is out of the question but I do live in hope!

nobody gets it right all the time..
one of my Buddha shots took me over 30 tries!!! but you don't see those deletes, only the best of the bunch.. whereas, with your's, you see the deletes as well as the keepers.. deletes are not failures, they are the ones that didn't work the way we wished.. we have to winnow the images so we find the outstanding one.. if outstanding was commonplace it wouldn't be outstanding.. Ansel Adams wanted just 12 a year.. :-)
@jorlam The plus of taking pics daily is your standard goes up. I cannot believe 3 months ago I never took landscapes. Now I prefer them to anything else. I have a bucket list to work through this year which I have barely touched. The very large minus is you get more and more selective or plain picky in my case! My pics are so much better after 3 months. Am looking forward to the end of the year! I think it would have been so easy to lose interest without the support of the 365 community.
@fbailey being more picky is good.. it is how we push ourselves.. how we grow.. when looking at a 'delete' don't think of it as 'i'm useless' think of it as 'i know i can do better than that' and then go and do it..
the support found on this site IS quite phenomenal.. pretty special..
